Linguine With Red Pepper Sauce

1 tablespoon oil
2 single carrots, chopped small
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 single salt & pepper to taste
4 single sweet red peppers in strips
2 can crushed tomatoes 1 lb. 13 oz
1 tablespoon basil
Sautee peppers & carrots in oil till tender. Add rest of ingredents. Simmer 1 hr. cook Linguine & toss with sauce. Optional: Add grated cheese & parsly while tossing.
